Bill Due

It’s the worst bill I’ve seen in my lifetime. If passed, it’ll set the country back 50-80 years.

Which is I guess the point?

Chud Life

Indeed. Clown-ass motherfuckers will be dropping from the clouds misattributing why we’re having power grid issues. When in reality, we destroyed our generation and storage capacity, the science behind it all, and canned the people who could competently lead any of it. MAGA chuds are some dumb, dumb fucks.

Fathom

What are some things that, as a man, you can’t fathom why women like?

Loser meth-addled “bad boys.” Why are so many women so attracted to these types?

Is the so-called excitement really worth it? My dad was not meth-addled but when he met my mom, he was definitely a loser bad boy. One of the main reasons my mother lost attraction to him is because the minute he knew he was going to be a father (to me), he settled down and tried to walk a better path.

And mostly succeeded.

My mom didn’t like him as much anymore when he wasn’t a violent partying near-thug. And then she went on to find more bellicose meth-addled losers and fucked up her entire life.

Makes no sense.

Crafting Airs

Smart book I’ve just started: Systems Engineering for Commercial Aircraft: A Domain-Specific Adaptation by Scott Jackson.

Among others, I’m also reading Eyes of the Void by Adrian Tchaikovsky actively but it’s much inferior to the first installment and I am not sure I will continue. It’s almost a recap of the first book with far less punch and point. Which is too bad, as I quite liked the inaugural entry, despite some glaring tonal flaws.

Addicts Do What They Do

All the while the social media/smartphone addicts claim it’s not a problem, they could quit anytime they like, man; meanwhile, take away their smartphone for two minutes and they are twitching like heroin fiends hours away from their next fix.

It’d be comedic if it were not so sad. And so obvious. The smartphone/social media combination is a cognitohazard for which we are wholly unprepared.

The Shift and Drift

When tattoos get less popular again — which they will1 — they will become coded as something that out-of-touch old people have.

That’ll be interesting.

  1. Seems to be already happening a bit as tattoos have hurt many women’s dating prospects so much.

I grew up in a violent place. I don’t have a plan to kill everyone I meet if needed (I’m not that needlessly paranoid), but the second someone starts acting hinky or threatening around me or those I care about I do think about what I’d need to do to take them out.

Ideally, disable them enough to get away but if needed, kill them. I mean, what else would you do? Anything else is negligence. I’m not going to be injured or dead because I have no plan for handling some pugnacious dangerous dipshit. Fuck that.

Not The Way

This is a first-class-only car and most people would not have traveled this way. It’s misleading. The ticket would’ve been like $1,000 in today’s dollars, depending on origin and destination, of course. But that’d not be far off.

Also, the Golden Age of rail travel was not in the 1950s. It was in the 1930s and 1940s. After WWII, rail travel went downhill sharply as roads improved and then air travel got better and cheaper. Passengers using rail peaked in 1944 (which partially had to do with all the peregrination due to the war).

By the way, this is a publicity shot of the Astra Dome loungeโ€‘observation cars introduced in 1955 and used on the Union Pacific line. These cars as I said above allowed first-class passengers only. This was not how rail travel or the past looked for most people. (Notice any black people? Hmm, wonder why.)

Cleanse

The smartphone combined with social media has been the biggest mental health destroyer and most substantive societal-level cognitive alteration since the printing press.

And it is not going well. Not well at all.

No Gain, Much Pain

I truly did never think I’d see the day when batteries, power generation and transmission and such became “gay” and “liberal.”

I mean, what the fuck? Could these doofuses get any stupider? I do not see how. An act of enormous self-harm for no gain at all (except to the Chinese).

Out of Practice

Under current liberal thought, you absolutely cannot be a colonizer if your skin has even a slight tinge of brown. No matter what you have done or are doing now. With the exception of Israel, because they are Jews and the left is pretty damn anti-Semitic.

I so wish the left were substantially better than the right. But it’s just not. Not in practice.
