I think a lot of the libs recognize now how incredibly, wildly unpopular their doctrine of, “We must let the wild-eyed crackhead murder you, rape you, or set you on fire for equity and fairness” has been.

That said, I don’t think they want to change. It’s just being forced by circumstance. If given free choice they’d still prioritize the “right” of some gutter scum to assault or stab you at will. However, when a lot of normal people saw the evidence in front of their eyes that many idiot libs had far more empathy for Decarlos Brown than Iryna Zarutska, that started the ball rolling.

It still not enough. But evil is being beaten back a little.
