On Earth, if you drop something from 1m it will be moving 4.4 m/s when it hits the ground. On a neutron star, if you drop something from 1m it will be moving at 2.3 * 106 m/s, or 0.8% the speed of light.

And that would definitely cause the glass to break. No dropping stuff on neutron stars, y’all.
