The left’s tendency when you achieve something to say, “Well, that was easy for you but so-and-so couldn’t have done that for [purportedly good and noble reasons].”

First of all, no, it wasn’t in fact easy. It was not easy to grow up poor in rural North Florida and then go on to be an active paratrooper for five years. In no way could anything about that be described as “easy.” Why react that way? Do they really believe that everything anyone achieves or fails to achieve is due to social structures only? Because I do not and I’m 100% for more social support and programs where they make sense.

Second, this isn’t “give a crap about some loser shit” facility. Go down the road for that. They can help you. We don’t do that here.

It’s a weird idea that what you visit and view is what you necessarily support and believe, isn’t it? How did so many liberals arrive at that asinine and clownishly clueless conclusion?

I read everything from very far-left actual communists to extremely right-wing RETVRN types. And none of those do I support. Part of it is that I just like getting a broad range of views. Otherwise, you are stunting yourself intellectually. Part is that you have no idea what’s going on in the world if you don’t come out of your turtle shell and look around. And another part is that I am merely curious.

Because I don’t have an ideology or philosophy of any human alive now (perhaps someone from 10,000 years in the future) I like to see if anyone else out there is emerging with the same thoughts, the same spirit. So far, no, not really, but if I don’t dive into the zeitgeist and the particular weltanschauung (to get crazy with the German Cheez-Whiz) of various little sub-cultures, how would I ever know?

There’s little worse than a person who believes you should be punished or shunned because you happen to read something they disagree with it. Not support it — that never seems to be the criterion. Just reading it is enough to bring about the sanctioning.

I won’t live that way.

Only absolute brainless knobs do something like that. Unfortunately, that is who is in charge now. Hope a decade-long depression is worth not having to see someone who vaguely looks like a man in the woman’s bathroom. (Hint: It won’t be.)

We need to do something about straight women’s misery in their hetero relationships.

The thing is, most men are just as miserable if not more so — and for good reason. I’ve seen it myself. Men are just a lot better at hiding it, because they must.

Neither gender is doing well. Too many women have expectations that no one and nothing alive can meet. Meanwhile, men treat their women partners as servants or bangmaids. Women resent being treated this way and men with equal justification begrudge the fact that women will punish them severely if they express the least emotion or doubt.

I have no idea why most het couples stay together. None. They all treat each other so terribly. And yes, women are just as guilty as men — I’d argue women are now even worse than men since feminism turned so toxic. Though the responsibility is still quite shared, to be clear!
