Or, you know, their access to insurance which determines their access to doctors who will diagnose a condition that SSRIs are used to treat and who will prescribe them. If your insurance sucks, forget SSRIs because they routinely jack the the price up on these medications.
Or maybe it says something about the social acceptability of drugs which dampen libido for a particular group. All SSRIs really do reliably is put a damper on every single strong emotion you could feel.
