Too bad. Heroku was far more sensible, scalable and easy to use than shit-ass Kubernetes. It had better ideas, better execution, better management and was far more capable. Kubernetes is just an enormous stinky bundle of insecure, slow and poorly-working crap code in comparison.
Why in the world did that win? Mostly because it was free, I guess.
But like a lot of open source stuff, it is only free if you assign zero value to your time.
