Despair

Iโ€™m already seeing people assert that because the actions we undertook to contain and constrain the spread of Covid-19 worked, we should not have done those things.

How do people think so very poorly? And Iโ€™ve also seen the claim that deaths are over-reported. Far more likely, though, is that Covid-19 deaths are under-reported. Why do people have so much trouble thinking about how systems work? It just doesnโ€™t seem difficult to me, but perhaps thatโ€™s because I practice a lot. I donโ€™t know.

The economy has a chance of not utterly imploding if we can lift some restrictions soon. Itโ€™ll be tightโ€ฆbut maybe.
