WebRTC drone striking you

WebRTC being used now by embedded 3rd party on http://nytimes.com to report visitorsโ€™ local IP addresses.

Yet another technology implemented by Mozilla in Firefox with nary a thought to its potential harm.

In Firefox to disable, do:

ยงEnter โ€œabout:configโ€ in the address bar and press enter
ยงPress the button โ€œIโ€™ll be careful, I promise!โ€
ยงType in โ€œmedia.peerconnection.enabledโ€ in the search bar
ยงRight-click the entry choose โ€œToggleโ€, the column โ€œValueโ€ should now be โ€œfalseโ€

This vulnerability is also present in Chrome but I donโ€™t and wonโ€™t use that privacy-thieving piece of shit so I have no idea how to disable it there.
