The whole “masks don’t change anything, and have no harmful effects” hooey and humbug really has been a huge failure. Because even the people who spout it know it’s a lie! And they know that you know that they know it’s deceptive, but they still do it anyway.

But it was to con others, who also were not fooled. Writing it, I can hardly believe it happened (and is still happening). But it did.
