I don’t have time to write about all its flaws, but it is complete garbage.

It’s all a cheap mathematically-engineered analogy, and certainly is not any kind of evidence that the vacuum is an acoustic-like medium or that quantum theory has been derived from classical dispersion. The damn thing starts from Schrödinger (Madelung), chooses constitutive laws that force a Coulomb operator, then calibrates with non-derived parameters to hydrogen. That is not in any way a meaningful physical derivation of quantization. It’s just like if I traced a photo of someone with a pencil and declared I had discovered what they look like from that. No I did not.
