Really appreciate that Mozilla has chosen the death by a thousand cuts approach to killing Firefox. This way you really get to *feel* the pain of realizing how bad the browser ecosystem is over and over and over again.

Good thread about the slow death of Firefox and the related inevitable surveillance apocalypse. A billion liberals screaming, โThis is for your own good!โ doesnโt make it so, and itโs nice that at least a few people are realizing that. Little good it will do, though. There will be no renaissance, as she hopes against all hope.
It started when they started blowing off the tech savvy users as unimportant perspectives. They didnโt realize those were the people installing Firefox on family and work desktop computers. @mozilla @firefox owes those former fans an apology for the way they treated people.

That is indeed primarily what killed Firefox, but I donโt want an apology. I want them to die. Iโve prevented approximately 500 to 1,000 people from using Firefox after they fucked all of us over, by sway and direct decision-making ability I have over various companies. It could be more than that because in an advisory capacity I recommended a company with 40,000+ employees not install Firefox, but I did not find out what decision they made (my consulting contract ended, but they probably listened to me).
Fuck Mozilla and fuck the Firefox developers.
